I am just sayin that since opel has had a good aftermarket for a long time that the chances of the Saturn Astra being supported are greater then if it was just a new Satrun....See what I am sayin????

What are you talking about? Layout of a turbo engine for the Astra? I know I've heard the rumors about a turbo for the '08 Cobalt, but I hadn't seen anything concrete yet. Did I miss something? Besides, there's no guarantee that the Astra will get whatever 'tuner' stuff the Cobalt does.

OK....again then....Did I miss a thread somewhere?

Besides, the VXR version in Europe is running a 230-240 hp turbo engine. If they aren't going to put the LNF (260 hp) in the Cobalt, but they're obviously changing from the LSJ, then I would think it's most likely to fall right in the middle of two. Or about 230-240 hp, lol.

this car is a real disappointment. WAAYYY to small (at least for me @ 6' 4"), and as much visibility as a lamborghini diablo.

I was at the dealer yesterday getting an oil change & checked out the Astra. I kinda like the body style but the engine is way underpowered. 138hp is just not enough for me.
