I probably would too. That thing is sick looking. You can make the hatch look pretty sweet too.

I like it too, but I think I would like it more if it was that blue color or black.

I like this car. I've never been a big hatch fan though either. It seems more appealing than the 2nd to last gen of Civic and the ever oppressive Focus.

The good thing is that Steinmetz has been producing performance parts for Opel for a good while. The company's designs have gone into the Astra OPC among other Opels. There is a pretty stout aftermarket in place and should hold true by the time we get it. Opels are pretty hot over in Europe.

May thoughts also....I really think the after market will take to the Astra a lot more then the Ion.

You guys do understand their aftermarket stuff won't work, right? The Opel VXR has the turbo mounted up front and intake manifold in the back. The turbo balt and astra are mounted the other way around.

Well, we don't know anything about the turbo Astra yet, so don't count it out. Secondly, there should be a lot of aftermarket stuff that WILL work, just maybe not a lot of the engine stuff. Pretty much anything body kit or interior wise should be fine. Maybe for once we'll be able to find decent dual gauge A-pillar pods.

I have seen the layout...I was pissed when I found out that it wouldn't work...I even found an upgraded turbo manifold for a GT28 or 35...
