Cold start jerking.

Is anyone else's RL jerking real hard when cold. It's starting to get real cold here in MI. When I start up the car and go to leave the car starts jerking real hard. Kinda like when a car is bogging down, then jerks hard. Don't know whats going on. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same problem.

Is it only in 1st gear? if so, give it more clutch until you get to 2nd.

Im from MI also, I dont have any jerking problems but when I take off and I havent let the engine warm up the car is a lil hesitant for the first couple miles... but my jeep is the same way too. Are you letting it warm up before you leave??

Clutch is completely let out. When pressing on the gas it acts like it's bogging down.

I let it warm up just for about 1 min.

you aren't the only one, every one does that and apparently they're supposed to. it keeps the engine from running hard before being warmed up.

its annoying yes, but probably a good thing.

dont worry about it too much.

Just warm up the damn car, she'll thank you for it. Trust me, you wouldn't want to be woken up from a dead sleep and then have to sprint down the block...

Wow I know how the hell to warm up a car. But even after letting it sit for 5 mins it still will do it.

LD9poweredZ24 and no not all cars do it. I have prob built more cars then years you have been in puberty.
