Converting Returnless to Return Style

How much of a pita is this?

I have an incling that this car blows up and doesnt make power because of the return style system not being able to deliver enough fuel.

I really wanna do this but I'm not sure how much work is required for this.

Also would the PCM care about this change?

1. Im working on it...got parts in route...if I get it to work Ill sell an adpater kit...along with the Big Bore TB I hope to finish this weekend

2. I agree that it is probbly the reason #4 always takes a shit but as far as more power...not a chance. Tho it will allow u to make more power with the injectors u have now.

3. See #1

4. PCM IFR table would have to be flatlined at the flow rate or ur injectors at the pressure ull be flowing them at...you'll be making up for boost/vacuum using the fpr so this table no longer serves any purpose.

Well it would make more power because off of the cylinders would be operating at the correct a/f ratio instead of #1 being more rich and #4 always being more lean.

but def interested in your experiment.

I hope you have a larger fuel ( capable of higher flow and pressure ) pump on order also. Using the premis that the existing pump has a pressure drop in the fuel manifold causing an injector to starve for fuel how is adding another bleed in the system going to help?

Yes that is on my list..You also need it anyway cause the stock pressure regulator is set to 58psi and is built into the pump so u have to replace the pump anyway to have full control over pressures.

Only weird thing I seen is the stock fuel filter has a feed line and a return line to the tank...cant figure out why the filter has a return line tho.

Don't know if anyone saw my posts on the shortbus about this, but I'm also working with Dan in getting this taken care of.

The best part about this mod, is it allows our current injectors to support higher horsepower numbers and also greatly allows larger injectors to command proper pulse widths at low map conditions.
