Post subject: WARNING! All Redline and Cobalt owners please read!

GM is watching our forums. Over at the Redline ones, we had a member go in for service, and was denied warranty work based on 11 threads they produced on printouts. This was $1,100 in parts alone. They had posts from as recently as yesterday from our forums. So be careful what you say, post, and claim in the public forums. Just a heads up. Here is the thread from our forum...

AND.....they were justified in denying the warranty claim on the clutch even without the forum info - the disc was beyond smoked, obvious abuse, AND the clutch isn't covered to begin with...

But yeah, when you talk big smack, and post your name and your friggin' car's license plate on the internet for all to see....it isn't exactly private any more.

Welcome, where in MD do you live? I am over in White Marsh. I only know one other person around here with a Redline. I am up for hanging out sometime. What color did you get?

I got a quick question.... What If something breaks on your RL, n u don't bring it in to the dealership n ask 4 help here. Will u have problems then?
I wouldn't think so. So do u mean if you say things against GM?
