Any special things needed for oil filter change?

I'll be doing a full oil swap tomorrow afternoon. I bought a new filter and it's just the insert kind. What do i do.. Just unscrew and replace with a new dropin?

under the supercharger you'll see the black plastic HEX(oil filter cap) its a 32mm
a long extension makes nice, and a little finese you'll the skanky filter out without having to undo any connections wires or otherwise...

I seriously have to buy a socket to remove the oil filter? That's just fucked up.

well many things have been done... you bought the car you'll be changing oil right? a 32mm isn't that bad a burden.
also there are low profile 32mm for ecotecs on ebay and such for cheap. but I have no problems with the socket I already had

You won't have to buy one if you already have one, lol.

Of course, now I have this gigantic socket thats only used for changing oil.

Actually, I think I have two because I lost the first one and then found it again...
