Brake Job

So I had my front rotors turned & reused the front pads & didn't mess with the rears, but I painted all my calipers.

So on the stock pads, there isn't any metal to metal contact since they have the rubber on the back where the caliper pushes on the back of the pad....no grease needed.

Do we need to put any grease on any of the other brake components??

Like on the clips that hold the brake pads?? (someone on the SS site mentioned it--I don't think they slide in those clips though)

Or have you guys undone the slider bolt & lubed it up???

Cuz I just undid the two caliper bolts that attach to the knuckle when I took the caliper off to get to the pads, but didn't lube up anything when I put it all back together

I'm not sure about the grease, but be sure to replace the clips that hold the brake rotors on.

I'm pretty sure you need to grease the rotors and re-grease the contact patch on the pads.
