Can a Redline tow a small trailer with a 600 pound bike behind it safely with no damage to the trannie?

I have a hidden hitch on mine and I regularly tow 2 4 wheelers with it and I haven't had any issues. So I'd say you'll be pretty safe. No high revving, don't overburden a gear and you should be fine.

Yeah you're probably right. 10 yrs of mechanical experience plus over a year of towing with the vehicle you're claiming I'm wrong with. Good call slick.

Also have a hitch and tow a small trailer with my tools and race tires. I cannot even tell it is there. My car is lowered on B&G's and the only time I have clearance issues is if I try a strait shot up my driveway which is at a slope and has a curb at the bottom.

Well Cynic, that confirms I am not the only one with a hitch lol

Your manual clearly specifies "Do not tow" with the Redline but with a little common sense you'll be alright.

Definitely use premium fuel (which you should anyway)
Avoid low rpm/high load situation which induce detonation, your better off taking a hill in 4th @ 3500 rpm that 5th at 2500.
Same with high load/high rpm, no need to do WOT pulls to 6500rpm.

But if you ever have to move long distance it would help depending on the amount of crap you own.
