Finished the Canadian Autoslalom championships this weekend.

I must say it was the pinacle of autocrossing. The course took on average a bit over 100 seconds. It was everything you could want too, extremely fast sections, fast 180's and any other turn combination you could think of.

I was running in the DS class, I did alright but there was this integra Type R that took the cake. They had the car tuned like crazy and was doing the course faster then most SS and SP cars, they also ended as PAX champs. They ran hoosiers and these expensive shocks. I need to get some type R tires in order to close the gap a bit at future competitions. I need to find some dirt cheap wheels first.

Has anyone had this happen. After the first day of hard racing, I got up the next morning to go for breakfast. I took off and immediatly my car went into limp mode, I didnt know what was up. The check engine light was on and the limp mode light(I assumed it was what the light meant) I lost all boost and could not rev high or go over 60 KM/H. I pulled the battery cable off pumped the brakes ETC to get the rest of the current out to reset the ECU. It worked and the rest of the day I had no problem. Then that evening it happened again!! I got up to about 6000 RPMS in second, I had been driving on the highway for about 2 hours, and it did it again. Has anyone else had this happen after hard race days and such? It seems to not happen during the racing but hours after.

Good to see that you are pleased with your results!

Was that integra, a white one, from quebec? If so; he usually comes to the interprovincial cup (ON vs. PQ) every year. This year MCO (motorsports club of ottawa) hosted it. It is my best guess that running a R-compond DOT tire will bump you in classing.

100 second race though...that is awesome...i really fugggin wish ours were that long; even then ours are typically 65-75 seconds for me, a 1 wheel drive car. LSD comming soon

As long as you are on stock size rims it just counts as 1 point and you are allowed 2 points in stock class. Yeah it was the white integra from quebec, they also won overall PAX National Champ. They are fast, I got some time to talk to them. They run hoosiers and really expensive adjustable shocks. (shocks are allowed in stock class also)

Take off your Throttle Body and clean it out real good. Get all the carbon off. Then Take off your SC Inlet Pressure sensor(on top the SC) and clean it with electric cleaner. And finally take off yout MAF Sensor and clean it. Your limp mode should go away.

Works for most people.
