plugged silencer holes holding up

looks like they are holding up so far , and he will keep updating. It is permanent stuff, so I dont see why it would be a HUGE problem if prepped an done correctly.

I just don't get this "mod." Is the blower not loud enough already? There is NO other point to this mod other than noise correct? So what's the point to risk anything for it?

No different than anything anyone else does to make there car louder , buy a BOV For there turbo car it doesnt help performance and it sometimes causes issues with tuning but everyone does it . This is no different you are not hurting anything , eaton put the holes there to reduce noise and your just plugging them . This persons was done right and there where pemanently sealed so no scrap metal can get into the blower or anything else.

I did this over 12k miles ago with jb althought I sanded them down nice and smooth. So far....no blown engine. Noise did increase more at higher rpms and if I'm in a high gear at low speeds exp. 20mph in 3rd is noticable. Also response "seems" to have improved but not by much. So there you have it.

Ebristol has only had it on his car for like 1-2 weeks? And he's over there already bragging about how far ahead of the curve he is than RLF. >_>

Frankly if it blew up his engine, I'd be freaking amazed. I might have to look into exactly what the composition of JBWeld, Magnum Steel and Quick Steel are; with what little searching I did I found they were the same thing in terms of tech specs.

Supposedly it increases efficiency, but when I asked for #s they all laughed and called me an idiot. *shrug*
