Recall Campaign

While having work done on my Supercharger Inlet Sensor the tech informed me that there is a recall Campaign #04053001 for "Fuel Feed Assembly". I received a free fuel filter replacement while this took place as well

Maybe it would be a good idea to make a sticky out of this thread where we list Recall notices for everyone. Oh and this recall states "04 Ion" Not sure if it includes 05s or not.

That is a really old recall. Most were done before the RL's were even sold, and only pertains to 04's. I would check to make sure they have not already been done before bringing it in.

I am going to the dealer today to fight with them about my redline and the wifes l300 taillight issue. I looked at the old invoice info on the back of reciept, no indiction any work had been other than the inspections. Speaking of recalls, how long does it normally take Saturn to send out notices. I never recieved a letter about the cam seal. Its been done but only because the tech found it when I was discussing the computer code issue. I will post my results tonight.

That recall was done on 04s only and 95% of those were done before the cars were sold. Wouldnt hurt to call in and check though.

Can you imagine the massive flood of customers seeking reimbursment? I remember calling SSP hunderds of times for taillight housings and selling dozens of them to customers. I know a few that I sold them to multiple times. Is GM going to be giving money back to these people?
