I'm guessing the SS was at least 2 cars ahead of us...us being 5th, and them being in at least 3rd? I'd laugh if they took 1st...but that was probably given to the RSX...

I had heard that they were doing this comparison and everyone called it, saturn bringing up the rear. What can you expect from the red headed step child. I cant wait to read the article and see why the cobalt won over the ion if we had more impressive numbers. cant be room in the backseat... or truck space for their tiny ass opening... must be the bowtie.

EXACTLY!! That's a Chevrolet and we drive a Saturn. Our interior does suck though other than the seats.

my friend drives a SS and I think he read the same mag, he was telling me about that, he was telling me the way all the numbers were that the RL should have taken atleast 3rd, we got ding alot on interior and exterior but we were pretty much on top when it came to the performance numbers. I hate that. GRRRR.

Saturn badge... -1000x points.

I guess a plus side is that they didn't even compare this with the Scion tC....I went to the Toyota dealership with my friend today because he's probably going to be buying a tC month (I'm still trying to convince him to get the RL). With the Scion brand, you can upgrade a ton of different stuff from the factory, or dealership, with no installation fees (which is pretty cool). But the cost for upgraded parts is kind of a lot...Anyway, he got a quote for a tC, with upgraded rims/wheels, exhaust, suspension, radio, ground effects, yada yada. The total for all that was $19k+. And the TRD supercharger (centrifugal) coming out for it is another $3600. So that brings the cost a wee bit over what a RL would cost (with the GMS discount), and the RL already comes upgraded with all that and then some. Just a pretty interested comparison.

BINGO! Stop complaining guys, a year ago, there wouldn't have even been a Saturn in the comparison. I'm proud they included it with the 'big-boys' of sport-compact. Think of all the cars they choose it over! Who cares where they rank it, they rank things based on past performance, just look at their BMW tests. The Bimmers win their comparisons every time, no matter what they have to adjust to make them the winner...
