maybe thats why everyone says that the gm tune is rich. i've never ran my 3.1 pulley so i wouldn't know. but with my 2.85, it neither rich or lean.....it's perfect. according to my narrowband a/f guage. the only time its rich is when i'm accellerating big time. Like when i hit over 135mph last night coming home from SF...lol but even then it's only 2 of the 4 rich bars that light up

I finally got dyno'd this weekend. 04 RL, stock except for some torque dampners (altho that shouldn't affect HP anyhow)


A friend said the conversion factor is like 22% to a dynojet, so about 226 HP.

I was gonna say that those are some low numbers, BUT even on a Dynojet I don't think you'd see 226 hp from a stock '04....sorry man

Well, the friend had converted his reading on a dynojet to that and found it to be 22% (242 on a dynojet, 198 on DD). The guys at the shop stated 13%, or 210, which sounded more realistic to me. Either way, I'm just happy it was over 200, the car is getting up there in miles and I figured it would be bogged down a bit.

I was just getting a baseline anyhow, I just staged my car with a 2.9 and 60# injectors.

Well I wasn't hating...just trying to be more realistic

With 60#-ers you should be able to go smaller than a 2.9 pulley (if you're looking for more power)
Did you get the car tuned yet??

Are you gonna get it dyno'd again??
