2004 Baseline Dyno

So, on my ION Red Line's 3rd birthday, I finally had him dynoed. Which is funny since I barely know what that means. I'm getting the stage 2 upgrade installed tomorrow at Saturn - again, I barely understand what that means.

But, I'm posting a picture of the piece of paper he printed out for me and I'm sure you guys will let me know what it all means.

This is the dyno on my stock 2004 ION Red Line. Even if I knew what to do, I don't think I would have "modded" it (Isn't that what it's called?) myself.

Thanks.

My car is supposed to be 205HP - do these numbers mean I'm actually 230HP?

They seem way too high for me. Can some one explain all this to me?

Wow... that really means your car is pushing 250...

Grain of salt without more runs, some cars dyno high and some dynos dyno high.

When I had mine dynoed, the operator showed me the same charts with different smoothing levels and then without SAE correction. With no SAE correction my hp went into the 230s. With SAE and smoothing at 5 I was at 224. I would guess yours would be about the same, probably 5-10 hp less than you're showing since it shows correction off. Still a really nice whp for a car rated at 205.
