Top Speed Run - How Big Are Your Balls?

Just wondering what all you guys have hit when just going balls-to-the-wall crazy fast.

The other night, I got enough balls to open her up and stretch her legs. Let's just say, I watched the needle on the speedometer climb to 140, and stay there while my rpms kept going up, hitting 6300 before I chickened out. I could tell there was more left in it, but my balls weren't that big.

I had no idea what my actual top speed was, due to a number of factors :

1. Speedometer doesn't go that high.
2. I am running 225/45 tires that make the speed of the car slightly faster than what the speedometer shows.

But my educated guess is this : at 75mph in 5th, my rpms are at exactly 3k. So, naturally, at 6k rpms, my speed should be roughly double.

~ 150mph.

Plus another 300 rpms should add 7.5 mph (75mph:3000rpm = 7.5mph:300rpm)

~157mph

My tires are 225/45/17's compared to stock 215/45/17 - When your speedometer reads 60mph, your actual speed is 60.9mph. Tire size calculator Using the 157mph and simple math, the tire correction would be (60.9/60=1.015 ~ 157 * 1.015 = 159.355)

~159.355mph. This is how fast I have balls for.

Who's got as big (or bigger) balls than me?

That is something I would never wanna beat. I've only been to 140 on 245/45 tires then let off I did it in fith gear and the top of fourth gear, I would go faster but I thought I would break a speedo cable or make something go wrong.

Yes interceptors will. My car starts whistling wind noise around 130 so thats all she wrote for me.

Good number , I got 150 here. Would go faster, just not enough road/time. Try 0-140-0 in 1 mile.... the next posts will whine about responsibility and good citizenship, I am sure

Been 160 on a motorcycle. My old Suzuki Bandit 1200.

Fastest I've been in this car so far is 120. I know it'll run all of the speedo from posts here so I'm not too concerned about it.

yah, the road goes by you pretty quick at 150+...

after i hit that speed (and i could tell there was more in it), i let off and slowly pressed the brakes. didn't slam them, just lightly on them. was probably on them for a good 30-45 seconds... then i saw little white-hot sparks coming out the back. it hit me... it was probably parts of my brake pads saying "fuck this shit - i'm outta here!"

luckily, i have cross-drilled/slotted rotors and good brake pads so they still work good and are not warped
