shop manual for the redline

Has anybody ordered a service manual for the car yet? I ordered from the webiste listed in the back of the owners manual. Its three books, 50 a piece. I haven't looked in depth at them but I see little info for the rl

Most of the stuff for the ION coupe is for the RL. When you get into the engine is where you see a lot of stuff about the LSJ. There are some small changes in the power distribution but not a lot and some of the harness is RL specific and is covered.

My service tech told me he would print out the online gm service book for me for free. Its like two or three hundred pages. He also showed me his eco tech book. Maybe one hundred pages... but chock full of info. From specs to cut aways.

Hey, when you get your hands on these pubs, you should take 'em down to kinkos and run off a few copies. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested in picking up the costs, and maybe a little extra somethin' for the trouble.

I just called my service tech....He's gonna try to get me the CD version. We'll see what comes of it.
