what tires for drag racing???

looking for recommendations on tires to get for drag racing??

drag radials or slicks??

what size to get? same as stock? 215/45x17?

and what size wheels?

and where to get the tires and wheels?

around here it seems like all the stores just carry regular summer tires and all-seasons.....

I'd stay same as stock, but use a drag radial. I have been researching them myself. BFG makes a g-Force T/A drag radial, and Nitto makes an NT 555R Drag Radial. Goodyear Eagle SS Drag Radials.....just depends on what you want to spend, but don't expect to get more than about 12,000 miles out of them.
