List of Recalls

Ok so i was wondering what the list of recalls were for the 04 ion redline any help would be awesome!

Because RECALLS (aka campaigns) are usually quite VIN specific the best way to find out if YOUR car has any outstanding recalls is to have your dealer run it through the VIS system.

Other than that the ONLY Redline specific recall that affected ALL 2004 (and most 2005 models as well) was:

#05522 Camshaft Position Sensor Housing Seal Replacement - (May 6, 2005)

Just have your Saturn retailer check your VIN to see if it has been done already

Are they supposed to put the campaign stickers on the car? I have had the campaigns done to both mine and my wife's RL's and there is nothing other than the work order that I have that shows it. I have looked on the rad support and also inside the doors(Ihave seen tham there on other vehicles), and nothing. I really don't mind that they are not there because it looks better without them. I like to keep the engine compartment as clean as the rest of the car.

Actually the stickers havn't been used for a while are are now only installed for "Emissions Compliance" type recalls. Since there hasnt been any for the Redline, there would not be any.

My dealer still uses the stickers. They put one on for the cam position sensor, as well as the ECU update even though its not a "recall".
