CEL Fixed TSB released

Hopefully this is a resolution for some of you.

3 weeks back I went to the dealership becuase my CEL came on. They determined that it was a bad sensor (when I get home I'll let you know which one). Unfortunately the part was not in stock so had to wait 2 weeks for it to come in. I also got the bumper scratches and Intercooler wiring fixed.

I got the sensor replaced last Thursday but the CEL came on again on Friday. I took it in today and it had the same code as before.

During the time that we were waiting for the part a TSB was released (I'll let you know when I get the work order) that indicated for the error that I have the parts catalog was wrong... meaning that the wrong part was ordered.

Hopefully this TSB will help some of the CEL issues that people are having

i also had the cel came on with the p0171 (lean code) and they told me that there was just an update for the ecm. so they did that and the light went away and ran alot better than b4 (and yes i did already have the update and camsensor done b4 this) but the light came back on like a day or two later b/c of my pos intake. they replaced the o2 sensor under warranty and put a fuse that someone forgot to put back in for my ic pump (wasnt me) and the engine wire harness just got in so im gonna drop the car off thrus prob to get them to do that under warranty too. so hopefully its not to drastic for you.

I go to Saturn Saab of Thornhill.... the best dealer I've ever been to.

BTW they gave me a Saab 9-5 loaner. Nice car with good power. Handling sucks though. I thought it would handle like the RL and almost wiped our taking an on-ramp too fast.

My dealer gives me a loaner every time.
I've had 2 ION sedans, a VUE V6 and now the Saab 9-5.

If I have the same problem I'm going to ask for the 9-2X ;-)

You'll like the SAAB 9-3 better! Hope you get that one for a loaner.
