I went to go get my supercharger rebuilt this week at a GM dealer ship and they don't have the part numbers for the bearings!!! I told them it should be the same as the cobalt ss!! Does anyone have the numbers off the two roller bearings, the two end needle bearings and the one main seal??? Any help would be awsome!!
You will have to find a place that either just sells bearings and seals or you will need to order them from a eaton places that rebuilds them. To get the bearing numbers you have to pull the bearings out of the snout. They are writen on the side of them. The snout seal will have to be measured for and order couldn't find a number for that. I do have two extra snout seals here with me. The snout seal I have is a oil seal from SKF part number 7965. CR 20x47x7 CRWI R. I would really love to give you the bearing number but I can not find my old ones I had laying around. Here is a pic of the snout also. Also you will need a machine shop to rebuild it unless you have a press. The bearing next to the coupler has to be pressed off and the needle bearings will need a special tool to pull them out. Like I said machine shop will be able to do it all.
I've actually been trying to find the official tool for removing and installing the needle bearings. I fabricated a few things, and they just don't work too well.
