Hazard Light Switch

So, I thought I'd get smart with my radar detector direct-wire installation. Who needs that little fake ION cassette looking slot anyway...why not put the mute button and alert light there, right?
As I'm pulling the radio/AC cover panel off, that stupid hazard light switch is attached to the damn thing. Thought it'd be simple enough to disconnect, but before I know it my pulling created flying springs and tiny metal pieces flying all over the car. Don't have to be a rocket surgeon to realize that's bad ju-ju.
So, how much does one of those friggin things cost to replace? Do I have to go through Saturn? Is it easy to replace, or should I just let someone else do it?
