Disconnect the battery and then CEL ?

How do I reset my CEL ?

I installed my subwoofer yesterday everything's ok... but I got CEL as soon as I turn the key ?

Disconnecting the battery give you CEL ?!

What's a CEL...if it has to do with the engine light...then mine did the same thing....i installed my system...and i had the engine light on for a few hours....let my car sit for about 4-5 hours b/c i got home...when i came back out to go somewhere it went away. so, all i did was let it sit and no light thus forth

Okay people....read the maintenance manual.....connect a 9 volt battery through the accessories outlet. This will provide enough power to keep the ECU program in the buffer. You will not get a CEL if you do this, otherwise, cycle the key 50 times to clear all codes.

What are you guys doing when connecting your system! What kind of CEL would you even get? MRN-1101 = Owner Moron Alert

It's quite normal actually. Mine will do it ANY time I disconnect the battery. It's a P603 Long Term Memory Reset code.

I just use the Interceptor to clear it first thing.

It will go away on it's own, but the code will be stored.

ok, the code was P603, the book told to change de PCM haha! I just got it reset

ive never had that code when i disconnect the battery.
