Are you concerned about damaging the girdle when you pull out the old sleeves and press in the new ones?
No, not at all. It's kinda hard to explain but we actually talked about this very thing before pulling the sleeve last night. I don't see it being an issue.

Month, maybe two. I'm going to go ahead and order the rings, headgasket, and sleeves as soon as I can. Other than some minor parts, this won't take long at all.
You should have seen it when it was running a couple months ago. It was flat out scary to drive in 2nd. Even Josh drove it once, and as soon as he hit the throttle, he just said "GAWD DAMN!!"
