Altitude and tuning

Just curious if anyone has some info on this. As some of you may know I am moving to Denver next month from Detroit. Detroit sits at an average elevation of 600 feet above sea level. Denver over 5000 feet. I know that altitude effects how a vehicle performs. Should I take the car into the dealership and tell them I just moved to Denver and would like the car retuned or something? Is there anything that can be done or should I just not worry? Ay info or opinions would be appreciated.

Everything should adjust on its own. Welcome to the 5280.

The good news is your mileage might go up a tad. And he SC will come in handy on trips to the mountains. Forced induction is the way to go at high altitude!

I'm in Calgary, Canada, and at an altitude to 3500 ft or so, my boost gauge only reads about 10 psi. I'm going to the dealer this week to see if this is normal.

(BTW, it's a mechanical Autometer boost gauge.)

I would think that at 3500' it should be normal. People closer to sea level hit only 10psi, depending on the conditions. Dosen't seem to be too unusual.

I thought that it was typical to get 12.5 psi of boost?
I'm getting this info from all the reviews that I've read.
