Talking Aftermarket CD Player Adapter - Other Questions

Hey guys, just wondering some stuff about the stereo in the IRL. I do plan on adding subwoofers, and I would like to use my Pioneer CD Deck. What is the best adapter to use with it?

Is it worth it for me to get the advanced audio with the 6 speakers or no. I think I would have to get the stereo with the 6 disc changer if I got that. And, how is that system amplified. Is the amplifier in the unit, or is the amp external?

Thanks in advance guys for any information.

the amp is external. dont get the advanced system its not worth it. For that price you can get a aftermarket stereo and add the tweeter and aftermarket speakers that are so much better. I bought the tweeter pods that are for the advance system and put in some fosgate tweets.

Save your money and dont get it. Add what you want. If you need the wiring harness and face plate adapter let me know. I have my old one sitting around.

Ok sounds good guys, looks like I am getting the base system and just changing out the old stuff.

Another reason for the aftermarker head unit for me is sat. radio. I don't like XM, but have the Sirius receiver for my Pioneer deck and love every bit of it. I definitely recommend it to any music fan. Nothing like it.

Look at the specifications of your subwoofer; make a box that fits to those specs. If you don't want to do that go to a shop and they can make you a custom box for about $100 bucks.
