I would personally recommned the BF-Goodwrich g-force T/A KDW II's. I have em and love em. As long as you don't plan on snow with em, they should be kick ass. I've got a few pictures here . The first 4 pictures are of the new tires. They stick as much as they look like they should .

Yeah, I went with the 225/45/17. I paid just under $150 per tire, after all the fees and stuff too (mounting, balancing, tax, etc). So to get them on the car, cost me about $600.

Blue, are those the tires that come with the SRT-4?

I hear good things about the MXs.

I believe so. I didn't know that actually until I got them. I've heard a few higher HP Evo guys talking about these as well, and that's kinda what helped me lean towards them. They were sayig it didn't matter what they did with the car, these tires just kept gripping. Just to keep up with the rotations though.

Well I think it is safe to say that I have had the most tire problems out of anybody. 5 count them 5 flates in 26000 miles. I have tried bfg and perelli and I will only stick to the factory dunlopes. Twice I drove with a flat for 15 miles+ {at under 40mph} and if that rimguard wasn't there it would of tore up my rime. They may be expensive but I think there well worth it.

Z Rated
Treadwear 280
Traction AA
Temperature A

Keep in mind the treadwear rating is only applicable to compare within the same manufacturer.

So those tires, Blue, are the same that were on the SRT-4 that was used in the head-to-head in <insert magazine title here> vs the RL, in which there were chunks of tire coming off?

If you're going to go all-season, which I plan on doing when it's time for me to get new tires, I'd personally go with Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S, they've got great traction, treadwear, AND they're rated for use in SNOW which is a huge concern I have with Michigan winters. They're not too pricey either, $133 a corner. They probably won't be quite as responsive as summer tires like the Dunlops, but they'll get the job done.
