Jerry why not just get a normal opt b tank. Your not really gaining anything from have it flow through. Concentrate more on smooth bends and getting rid of "T" with "Y"'s and getting good air flow to the h/e

It takes a longer time to warm up the fluid because there is more of it. Also, you can throw ice in it at the track or on the dyno.

Also Alan doesn't make the pass throughs anymore. The mold is gone. Pretty sure no one else makes them either, so kind of stuck with what is offered unless one of the few that have it part theirs out.

There is no fitting on the Cobra HE to bleed the air back to the Option B tank

I like my Option A setup, will just have to fab up something on my own I guess

Well just my opinion but the opt b is very important in the system and helps it operate at its best. I used to have the cx racing small dual pass h/e and it had an vent that could be used for that purpose. Really cheap too. Just fyi.
