Arrow How much stock boost are you pulling?

I was wondering how much boost you all have stock. Mine goes up to 12 lb's on my factory guage. How much boost did you guys gain with a CAI? I was just wondering cause with my cobra I added about 1.5 lb's of boost with a k&n just cause it could suck more air in. Sorry if this has been posted...I searched so don't get mad .

12 pounds is PCM controlled so untill you get a piggyback or GM puts out a stage that ups the boost, 12 is what you get. I am confused about the CAI on your pony.. That cobra intake must be restrictive as hell or the air cleaner was just plain plugged up. It is stange to see simply a CAI run the boost up, how much did it end up making?

I ended up making 10 lbs with a K&N FIPK II Cold Air Intake on my stock 04' Cobra....before I put it on stock was about 8 lb's (which is normal). The only thing I can think of not having more boost with a higher cfm filter would be that the saturn has a good intake already or it is too small of an engine?

I also remember that if we ported our blowers that we could get about 50 more horse out of them. Have any of you all ported your blowers?

The blower is a bit oversize. The M62, Eaton states as being designed for 2.5
to 4.0 L engines. The 12 PSI is where the bypass value is set to open, so 12.0 to 12.5 is the norm. Some run around 13 and with the pully kits, I think sp00ner has seen 15. The stock intake is a CAI but knowing GM not the best designed in the world.

I tend to hit the mid 14's most times, but on good nights it's peaks at 15. The guy with the 3.0 that I helped, was hitting 15's all day.
