Pulled over last night

Of course -- being on call lastnight -- I get paged a 10:30 p.m. So I am heading over to work and the friggin' highway is closed. Knowing the area, I bypass that madness and head down through Camden and pickup Lowry in Minneapolis. Driving along and this Dickhead cuts me off. So at the next light I WOT and pass this guys ass. Unfortunately, cop passes me as I am shifting into second. I see him turn around with the lights on and take the first right I see.
Cop pulls up behind me and ask why I was racing. I explained what happened and the guy tells me to take off. I just start heading off, and he flips the lights on again. He then asks for my license, registration, and insurance. I hand him everything and wait to get a ticket. Now I know he didn't clock me because my RD didn't go off, but I was afraid what was going to happen. Sit there for about 2 minutes, guy comes back and tells me to have a nice evening. Nice! First time I have been pulled over in years. I have to say, it still sucks.....

Maybe he didn't clock you, maybe he just knew that you were driving a little too spirited... Nice that he let you go completely.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised. I am sure that they saw a white boy in the hood and just thought it was better to let me go.... Got lucky.

Almost same thing happened to me last night. Heading through a two-lane, one-way tunnel here in downtown, and chirped my tires going into second. Didn't really mean to, plus you know how the exhaust sounds in an enclosed space.

I see the blue and reds a second later, and the cop pulls up and starts yelling at me. I just yes sir'd, and we went on our way. I hadn't gone beyond the speed limit, and it looked like he had someone arrested in the back of his cruiser.

Them lights sure get ur heart pumping!

Unfortunately i'm too used to being pulled over so it doesnt effect me...lol...it's either my exhaust is too loud, not wearing a seat-belt, etc... I think they keep a picture of my car at the local police stations and hold raffles for who gets to inconvenience my life this time.

True that. The cop did say that my car was very loud, and that was the reason why I got pulled over. Mine is stock, so I can just imagine what a upgraded exhaust would sound like.

Of all of my cars, the Redline is the fastest, and it's the only one that I haven't been pulled over in. It's extremely surprising, because I do jackrabbit starts & goose the throttle & blow past cars on the freeway at 110 reasonably often. I love getting pulled though, good adrenaline rush to be had when you see those lights.

Only slightly, only a little bit. Actually, a lot. The more & more I think about it the further out of my mind I think I am . . .

If my brain cells where still intact, I might agree with this statement. The voices tell me it's alright.....
