HID install help

Need some help with my HID install. I have no idea what I am doing and I have no instructions for the set. Can anyone help? I suck at electronic stuff like this. Anyone install a set that can help a bit with some instructions/pics? Thanks for the help.

I tried to warn you. Did you get a hold of WopOnTour yet? If not I can try to make you something.

The ballast has 2 plugs on it... one fits the cord that leads to the bulbs, and the other should be a standard 9006 conector. Put the bulbs into the lamp housings and connect them to the ballasts. Now connect the factory light connectors to the supplied wiring and hook them up to the ballasts. If no wire was provided to run from the factory connectors to the ballast then you will need to get a 9006 connector and splice it into your factory wires. This is a very generalized install and may not apply to all models. If this dosen't help try posting pics so I can see exactly what you have.

mount the ballasts to the front bumper support directly under the headlight take them out you have tons of room in there!!!!!!

okay i can help you here. what color are the two wires coming from the ballasts to the 9006 plug (car side) ill tell you what to match them up with this hid install is a piece of cake. i assume you got 9007 bulbs with this kit??? there is no way you can properly make 9006 bulbs work in a 9007 housing you would really have to rig them in there. and they would almost 100% not be water tight. ill help with the wiring.

give me those two colors ill tell you which 2 to tie them into on the car's side. you should also pick up 2 5 amp diodes. to avoid problems if someone accidentally turns on the high beams. ill explain more after we figure this out first. see you have a 3 wire plug for 9007 and you will now only use 2 of those wires. but.....if the ballasts dont have protection ciruits built in which most of the cheap ones dont, if you dont use a diode and someone flips the high beams on and you dont realize it the middle wire changes polarity on the car's plug when the high's come on this is bad for the ballast.

Thanks for the help. When I get home today I'll check the wiring. From what I remember, the harnesss has 3 wires. Red, white, and black. Goofy had spliced 2 of them together, I think the red and white, but I have to check when I get home. That's the only part that is throwing me for a loop. Now here comes my stupidity and lack of knowledge on electronics (I have no idea what I am doing). What would a protection circuit look like? Like an in-line fuse for a radio? And a diode? Heard the term, but no clue what one looks like. I told y'all I suck at this shit (I minored in English, history, and psychology-not too many electronics classes). Thanks again for the help. I'm sure somebody'll get a laugh out of my ignorance on this one. I know my mechanics do.
