Now there are some different variables on each run of course but I will hardly... hold on a sec I have an excel spredsheet of my runs to throw up to invalidate your argument.
I ran a mechanical boost gauge for 3 months. It hit 12 all the time. During racing, during testing, during logging. Apparently the ECU isn't smart enough to know when I'm intentionally abusing the car, but it can figure out when you're on a drag strip.

The problem with you trying to invalidate my arguement, is that your facts are about as solid as a styrofoam foundation for a hotel. You're interpreting facts to mean what you need them to, in order to support your logic. That's a pretty classical logical fallicy.

If your car is limiting you to 9psi, that sucks for you. My car does not. I guess my ECU is just the racing model...

Hey thats fine differences are what makes the world go round . The only reason I posted in the first place was to tell some people that were probaly pissed that there car ran a best of 15.00 that its not the cars fault, all they have to do is switch a bypass and they can run a 14.5. I was pissed as hell and then I switched it and I was so happy, I acutally had a camera in my car when my first run was a 14.8 and I flipped out I was so happy. Just want others to enjoy to thier RL's.

I would be wary of doing any bypass mod - even if it works, the ECU doesn't provide the fuel needed to run at the boost levels you will reach. You risk running too lean.

If you can, wait for the stage1 recal, that'll remove the bypass safely via the ECU. I think...

Oh this car runs as rich as a fat kid in a ice cream store. You can put 90psi, ok maybe not that much, more air and you'll be more than fine

That's intentional programming though Alpha, it's not just a mistake. It does a nice job of reducing combustion chamber temps. Drop a few mods on, leave the bypass off, and the car runs broom-lean. Look at the dynos posted about just that subject.

Thats not true, unfortunately. Why do you thing PSI-FI spent all that time and money on a piggyback ecu to run with their pully?

By looking at the facts stated in this thread I've determined that the reason Alpha was able to run faster was not because of the boost mod, but more so because of the 30whp he has in STICKERS on his car. Goes to show... don't fuck with someone with stickers... unless of course their stupid enough to post 15.7 quarter mile runs... haha!!!

Those stickers may have added 30whp, but you are forgetting how much weight they added to the car and the aerodynamics that they messed up. All in all he probably only netted about 17whp from those stickers.

Ok first off STICKERS ROCK!!! Second the first 15.7 I stayed in third to see what time I would get and the second 15.7 was me missing 2nd *hint look at trap speed of both those runs* I got nothing to hide if I ran a 17 I would post the slip, for the people who know me you can make fun of me and whoop my cars a$$ all day and I'll still talk crap
