yeah, it's an 04
you have to pull away or remove the trunk liner from the right side of the trunk, the vent is mounted on the right side of the trunk, kinda where the gas tank filler is, roughly, sorta.

Interesting. I looked at mine from underneath the car and guess what. There's only about 1/4" between one corner and the bumper cover. If someone bumped it, hard the bumper could contact it and possibly crack it or break the seal. There must be a reason only a few cars leak. I think you might have discovered something.

hahahahahaha... boy does that suck.. replace it ASAP... thats all you can do... oh and FYI it's no fun to try and replace that.. the always go bad right before winter... but u need it fixed before winter comes or you'll be soaked in the trunk

That is the pressure vent for cabin pressure, so your doors will close etc. its on the right side of the trunk under the grey felt, All ions have them there. and some of them leak inter, its easy to replace and it stops the leak.

Can I get it done from in the trunk? Or do I have to take off the rear quarter panel?

Massive puddle in my trunk. Spare and jack is rusted. I will dry it out next week and paint it with rustoliem black.

remove old one. install is the reverse of removal.

Do I need to put cauk around it? Or just pop in the replacement?

I didn't get a good look at it yet. I just saw online alot of them leak. My dam trunk is full. My roof drains are clogged too.
