question for wiring experts - re: raptor shift light signal

Currently my Raptor is spliced into the green/white wire in the engine bay,
it works fine,
but I just don't like that location, and the way I tapped in.

I've been thinking about whether I could tap the signal from one of those wires that goes to the oem ladder tach?

Anyone know?
Amishland?
