ION RL Radio Problems

Anyone experiencing problems with their radio? I have a 04 RL and my Single CD radio every once in a while the radio does not function. You cannot turn the volume down change the station absolutely nothing. It happens like once a month or so. I'm going to get it looked at just curious to know if anyone else had this problem. I do not have the advance audio at all Just a Single CD AM/FM MP3 radio.

if you are having a problem with your radio, take it to a saturn dealership whenever you have time. i work at saturn and every once in a while we get vehicles that come off the truck with malfunctioning radios. some dont power up, some dont power down and some just seem to have a mind of their own. take it in, and let them know what the problem is and ask if you can get a free replacement

yea the 04 and some 05 ions had some problems with the radios.... take it in and get a new one... or just go aftermarket

A few weeks ago one of my cd's started to skip, so I turned the radio on. And it did'nt, so I was like "fuck". So I went a few more days without. Started to play another cd which started to skip, so I wanted to see if the radio played and sure as shit it did. I still don't understand it.

it's broke... take it in and get it fixed or go aftermarket.. the 04, 05 radios suck ass.. thats why we got new ones in 06

2004 radio had some problems we have replaced more than a few for the problem you desricbe and also for the radio going kind of staticy at times and no music coming out. it only lasted for a few seconds but it was doing it i heard them with my own ears take it in and tell them you want an updated one that has no problems. my dealership was aware of this issue after i mentioned it they said they have seen a few come in for this
