You mean it smells like it is coming from the the S/C, or that there is something that smells like a S/C? Does the SC seem excessively hot?

I have always hated smells on a car. I had one once, terrible smell, that when investigated tuned out that I had run through a puddle of coolant and some splashed up and onto the motor. That smelled pretty bad.

Belts aren't THAT expensive are they? $40 tops? I think if my belt were to start to wear, that would be a perfect excuse for me to get the undersized pulley and replace the belt w/a smaller one....

It happens each time after hard driving? Burned/boiling coolant has a funny smell. Have you noticed any coolant loss?

I think I have the same issue. Some kind of smell hits me right in the face after a hard acceleration. I haven't been able to pinpoint it, but I figured it was either the supercharger or maybe the clutch. Not sure, though.
