Road and Track compares Redline and SRT-4

Am I the only one who saw this article? I just picked it up from the stand on Sunday and I was sure there would've been a thread started about it before now.

What's the scoop?

BTW, it was pretty favorable...

Yeah, I read it, and it was a pretty decent article. They compared the two cars nicely, and did'nt kick the RL into the can like some other magazines did. Is the RL starting to get some respect?

I tell ya, there are some kids in a 240 that were making fun of me and my roommate for being in a Saturn with a big wing. Laughing and talking loud enough that we could hear 'em with our window just cracked, pointing, laughing like crazy. The light turned green, I lit up the front tires like a smoke show, threw it into second and was GONE to the next light. By the time they pulled up, the kids riding with him we all making fun of him as loudly as they were just laughing at us 2 min before. Ahhh... nothing like a car people don't take seriously. He wouldn't even hit the gas hard enough to keep up with traffic at the next light, wanted to make sure I know he wasn't 'feeling' like racing.

I can't light 'em up in first gear, the wheel hop makes it feel like the front end's coming off.

rev it higher, they'll light up no problem, dump the clutch at 4500rpms and you'll get a smoke show

is this a new article? the last comparison was by Car and Driver, correct?

It's in the Road Test annual 2005 issue titled 26 Great Cars Head to Head Shootouts. Or you might try RoadandTrack.com
