tagged by a ford ranger

Going home and slowed down because the guy in front of me stopped and the girl in the ford ranger behind me did not. The car in front of me slowed to look at the car smashed in the middle of the road. When I got hit the officer writing the current accident laughed---since we were in front of him. He said that we were the third acident in this spot.

Still having fun with the insurance company we are at about 5k now.

Wow, ouch. But hey, at least all those panels did their job absorbing the hit.

Hey look on the brightside at least now you'll be able to get the aero-wing!

I'm dying to get someone to rear end me so I can kill them, then get a free aero-wing That does suck though, are you sure you don't have any whiplash

Yea, I was thinking the same thing... unibody damage can be a real bitch. I know from personal experience with my last car. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/720414/4
The pics don't do the amount of damage justice. The hatch was push in so far that the lock would not release the latch. I was told that the body shop had to hack up the hatch lid just to get it off. Fun stuff. Good luck with the body shop and everything.

On a separate note, what's with the rash of accidents lately? Keyser Soze got into one too... are the gods out to get us?

Yeah the damage is alot worse then it looks because the 1/4 panels somewhat popped back out. If it was all metal it would be crushed like a beer can. I can see it looks like everything from the rear axel back is fucked, trunk floor and most important are the frame rails. The bodyman has to get the rails perfect in order to make the sheet metal(plastic) to line up good. Since I've had my car for over a year now, we still havn't had 1 ION let alone QC or RL in my body shop for repair.

Oh well, good luck and make sure those guys put all new OE parts. The insurance companies love to be cheap and try to give you aftermarket, or refurbished, or recycled parts. Check the estimate and make sure none of the parts listed say "LKQ" that's not new GM...and make sure the body shop isn't doing the old "take the parts $ and repair old parts" trick either, lots of shops do it all the time

Hope you get her fixed up proper bro!
