Arrow RL Speaker sizes

I have an 06 RL w/out the speaker upgrade option. Im not very inclined when it comes to most electronics. I wanted to know what are the stock speaker sizes up front and in the rear. Im defenitley planning on the infamous speaker swap. Thanks in advanced BTW.

Another thing, why isnt there a audio and video section on our forums? I never noticed it until now.

We have 6.5" speakers in front and back with the addition of 1" tweeters in the front by your rearview mirrors. If you are looking to upgrade you can fit a set of components (woofer and tweeter are seperate) in the front and a set of coaxials (woofer and tweeter are one) in the rear.

I don't know the mounting depth of the front doors, but for some strange reason I think it is close to 2.75". My components are 2.65 deep and they fit fine. Do your research there are a lot of different options out there. Don't buy anything before you have the chance to listen to it.

Everyone's ears are different and different people like different sounding things. So never base your judgement on what you will buy on what others tell you, you need to listen for yourself before you purchase!!

Good advice, thanks. I also wanted a clean thump, brother told me a single 15" with a 400 watt amp might do it. What do you think?

I would avoid a 15", but that is just me. I like nice tight, hit ya in the chest bass. I would say a 10" is plenty, but again that is just me. You may like the sound and feel of a 15", I don't. It is a sloppy and distorted bass. Go to your local shop and listen to a solid 10, like a 10w3 and then listen to a 15, completely different.

Size is loud.. but the soud quality sucks. Personaly, I think you'd be better with 2 nice 10"s

the break down goes for a 10" which will hit fast and clear but doesn't give out a ton of bass fell.. a 15" gives you a ton of bass but not a lot of clearity and sounds bad on fast hitting songs.. a nice 12" is basicly the best of both worls... it's not as clear as a 10 but louder and it's not as loud as a 15 but clearer.. plus it hits pretty fast for most music.. i had 2 12" subs and loved them... i think one would be all u need tho... if you want to go big then get a W7 or something from orion

who says 10s don't have deep bass? you just gotta get a speaker that is effective at that range then build a box to help it out. you only need to go down to 15hz. most people cannot hear below 20hz anyways. 10w7s are bassy as fawk. specially w/
1kwatts each.

I have a single 10" with it's own amp (and the Advanced audio amp pushing the stockers)...

It isnt going to win contests but it is enough to annoy the neighbors

Besides, my set up is heavy enough. Do you really want a 15" with it's extra weight sagging your rear end?

As for front speakers, be carful what you buy, I had bought 2 Audiobahns for the front and were too deep. I have Kenwood Excelon's in the front they sound really good, kinda pricy though. I still need to get a 4 channel amp for my interior's, and they'll sound much better.
