I'm So Excited! And I just Can't Hide It!

Sorry for the cheesy song title, but I just talked to one of the Production Managers at Spring Hill and my black IRL, with Comp. package, side airbags, and Advanced Audio will be built on March 1st and delivered on March 7th to my dealer.

This is the last new car I will purchase for many moons, and judging from the many positive comments on this forum I think I made a good choice.

I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.

if you're at work and about to lose control, may i recommend visiting your restroom

but jk, you'll enjoy the car I'm sure, did ya get a moonroof, what about a spoiler?

don't forget to get some pics

(btw why side airbags out of curiousity, i'd like to hear people's reasoning for paying the extra 500 bucks or whatever for 'em)

some insurance companies give you a discount if you buy them, sure its a very small discount, but over the life of the car it should pay for itself.

see I was tryin to figure that out, I was thinking that too, but through the quotes I got, never saw that option...

(btw not implying that you shouldn't care about safety, just wondering you think those side airbags will help that much and whatnot, already a really safe car without that option)

I have them on my RL but I didn't have choice. I either took the one in the show room or have to wait to get one with out them. I really wanted to drive it home!!!! Also I belive I read the RL didn't really do well in the side impact rating??? Perhaps I'm wrong.

I didn't choose them, but they were in the car, and I knew I'd be racing it... so I thought they were a good idea. Not to mention all the rush-hour traffic encounters...

Saturn of Greenwood.

Did not get the moonroof or the spoiler. I'm just not a fan of either.

I got the airbags because I have a 2.5 year old girl, and I wanted the extra protection for her.

I would like to make a motion that the original poster be banned for 24 hours for referrencing a Pointer Sisters song.

And I suppose me too for knowing that.

Congrats on the new purchase.
