okay when i dynoed they said to do it in fourth gear that you wouldn't true hp if you did it in third yours sounded like it was in third what's the real deal with this?

I have no clue. I just brought it in and let them do all the testing. I had a great time...thanks black_06 for the posting and vid.

no prob JD. yes all the pulls where done in third. They do this for all 5 speed trannys and fourth gear pulls for 6 speed trannys.

Does it piss anybody else off that our torque numbers are so much lower than our HP?

okay the guy told me i had to do mine in fourth.. i wonder why i wonder if this had anything to do with the disappointment....strange though my torque was about 10 higher... i can't imagine why

i think it depends on the type of dyno and weather factors i think.

dynojets read the speed of the roller turning plus the pulse from the spark to determine everything for you
