05 Accord V6

Was at the local Wal-mart with another RL that I had found tonight and an SRT-4 and a new Accord show up. Both really cool guys so the Accord asks if I wanted to run him on the way home b/c he said he whooped an RL's ass one night on Interstate 81. I was glad to take the challenge. Well, long story short we get to the highway and both gun it at the same time and not an inch of ground is gained or lost. Completely even race. One mistake and it would've been lost.

oh....by the way, I had the SRT until the top of 3rd then he walked all over me. Just thought you guys would like to hear.

Did he have any mods done?

I don't know the specs on the '05's but I seem to whip up on the V6 accords quite often.

I think the '05 is 270ish horsepower. Maybe he actually was driving a stick shift coupe instead of the typical automatic sedan. I would imagine a bit of difference there.

It was a manual trans. and the only mod he said he had done is he pulled the traction control fuse out. He was a pretty cool guy and it was a beautiful car.
