NO Mustang is respectable except for a GT500 and GT350, but this of course is my opinion. And we all know opinions are like assholes, everyones got one and they all stink.

In fact the 03/04 cobras are very underated in their power just like the redline. Just remember..back in 88 a stock vette ran a 14.6 and cost lots more then a 5.0 5 speed LX coupe that ran the same 1/4. Go figure. I love the redline but an 04 Cobra id take anyday over it...sorry guys
Hey, I'm responding to a DICK. Not JUST blasting him for a Mustang. You should know we're not just gonna sit here and listen to his dumb ass...

No question bro, no question at all. I'll bash anything once the driver decides he wants to be an ass-monkey. No car is above an insult.

That is true. A bad driver, as in attitude can give a car a bad name.

Those with pulleys, exhaust, CAI and a tune are hitting 450+ WHP for very cheap. They also differ in looks with a larger front end, which looks very nice compared to their GT brothers.
Stock for stock the cobras not much faster than the LS1 powered cars. In fact every cobra I have seen at the track had a hard time getting out of the 13's or destroyed there rear end from so much wheel hop.

and now Mustangs are slow too. LOL

I have no love for the super neon but even you guys are slower then they are. Now I know why the "Slow and the Delirious" generation are so misguided on whats fast and whats not.

Here is a tip for all you hard core "street" racers. Work overtime at burger king and don't waste money on exhausts that are big enough to fit a watermelon in and stupid neon lights save for a while and maybe just MAYBE you can get a car worth braggin about.

And before you reply about how you could own mustangs when you "get parts" I happen to have one and I would be more than happy to take a giant dump on you and leave you to disappear in my rearview.

Peace out kids have fun racing minivans

Hmmm I finally get the joke, "the difference between a cactus and a Mustang Cobra.........on the Cobra the Prick is on the inside" Thanks for clearing things up and I hope yer Cobra helps compensate for some of those shortcomings of yours.

I'm not a big fan of the Cobra because they had to supercharge it in order to have it keep up with the WS6 and Camaro SS before those cars went under(Yes I know the Redline is also supercharged but its not a V-8 either). Granted the latest Cobra is quicker stock but I'm sure if the Camaro or Firebird were still around they'd be fitted with the same V8 in the current GTO. Maybe once Ford is finished paying all the legal costs of its "Exploder", pinto, and the Crown Vic they can start building some better products. Either that or they can change the company's name to Chariots of Fire?!?!?!?

It's even funnier because for the price on an '04 Cobra, he could have had a Corvette that actually goes fast, AND turns well. Some people are just dumb AND ignorant. The best thing that ever happened to a Cobra was the Camaros going away, that way people couldn't make fun of the fact that a car aimed at the Corvette was having trouble fending off the Camaros and TransAms....

Allright u guys had your fun while i was away last week bashing fords Yeah they have a supercharger...blah blah blah. They are also 281 cubes compared to 350 cubes. Who cares if it has a supercharger, we are talking factory cars, that is not something added as a mod, it comes with it. I have seen several 03-04 cobras run high 12's stock at the strip. Oh yeah every make and model of cars have pricks in them..stangs, saturns, srt-4, and esp talons and eclipses. And what corvette are u gonna get the price of an 04 cobra?? Certantly not a new one..so if u speaking an 04 or earlier its not gonna take a cobra in the 1/4. Ahhh yes.,..it begins again!!! lol

looks like there was about an 8k dollar difference in msrp price. Also stock c5 vette vs stock cobra = very close races. Depending on drivers the vette would win some, cobra would win some.
