You guys would love to live near me...

So, I was going out yesterday to eat with my friend and his girlfriend, and guess what wanted to play with me? You'll never believe it, but it was a Ford Probe. And not the 'somewhat respectable' V6 GT Probe, a 4cyl piece of junk with a fart can muffin shooter on the back. i think he had more $$$ in his windows tinted that what he paid for the car. Anyways the driver slowed up for me to get beside him...first mistake. We're rolling at 45mph, and i never shifted up to 4th cause i knew he wanted to play. I got beside him, and as soon as i heard his ground shaking exhaust, i just took off. I had 2 car lengths on him before i hit 65mph,shot over in his lane, and it was over before it even started. He didn't even try to keep up. I was in a different area last night, one that i havent been though yet in my new car, so i'm slowly spreading the word. Maybe I'll go back down tonight to see what i can find.

PS - there were 3 people in my car also at the time....a couple extra hundred pounds.

I didnt need to drop gears at all to humiliate him. I think i could have taken him rolling at 45mph in 5th gear. I'm telling you, guys in my area are pathetic. Just cause they have a car that has their $40 knockoff exhaust they got off of ebay, they think they're fast cause you can hear them coming from a mile away. I swear, if i was 1/4mi ahead of this kid, i would have waited to see what the hell could be making so much noise. One good thing is that i heard when he started to accelerate. There was no way he could ever say he wasn;t ready cause he was made the first move.

I also have the four banger but it's fast than you think with an intercooled turbo, stock cranking about 170 horses. I think the torque is in the mid 200's too! Play with the boost, intake, and exhaust, and you would have had your hands full.

Until someone play with the boost, intake, and exhaust on a Redline, watch those 'if he hads....', if I had Bill Gates money no one would out run me in any car, but I don't.

nice kill ......yes the number of people in your car can make a BIG difference.....I raced another gp gt .....this one was a 2001.....and Im a 98......he had 5 people in the car ....I was alone .....we raced 3 times at 3 different lights.....I put a car length on him 2 of the races....3rd light he rolls down the window and says ....got any mod's I say no ....he's like how are you beating me??? I explained how much slower the 4 other people are making the car. He says no way it makes that big a difference? I said ya ill give you a head start of a car legnth and guarantee Ill catch up and even pass you. Light goes green ...I wait till he's almost throught the intersection and hammer it.....sure enough I start creeping slowly until I finally his hood is at my door ...so I was about half a car on him......he flashes in respect and were on our way.

I got smoked by a Honda Insight with some teenager lookin kid in it. I was driving my 2001 SC2 with me and 3 people and trunk full of groceries. It was so sad! You could hear all 1.9L of fury coming from the tailpipe and the car hardly even moved, it was sooooooo slow...

look at the weight of my GP.....roughly 3500 pounds and it still has BALLS......GM really did good with the power to weight ratio. However imagine if my car weighed like 2500 pound with the 3.8 ....or less I wonder how much of a difference that would make.

I came across a Lexus sc430 the other day. Didn't know much about them at the time, but I decided, what the hell. I rolled up beside him doing about 60, then downshifted into 3rd and punched it. I raced into the top of 4th and pulled away doing 100+. When I turned off the road, he flashed his lights. I can only imagine the look on his face when he realized that his $58,000 car got handed to him by a Saturn.
