2005 Cobalt SS vs Redline

Well this was a few weeks back but I thought I'd post it now to see if this person was on here since I live in the area now.

I saw a blue Ion Redline driving down Cumberland in Chicago and it made a right down a 2-way street, forgot what it was. So the light ahead turned red and it was in the left lane and i got in the right lane next to it and saw that it was a girl driving, there was a guy in the passenger seat. I didnt think she was gonna gun it (no offense to any ladies on here) but then I heard the guy say something and she floored it. I ended up winning by about 1 1/2 car lengths by around 80-90mph.

So are there any Redlines out by Cumberland and Irving Park area in Chicago?

I'm don't know of any personally... but it's a big city...

We haven't had any show up to any of our meets from up in that area.. I'm running across more and more of the 2.4L SPA Ions each day..makes me sad.

Thats why I gave cross streets. Anyone go to the white castle at belmont and harlem? A lot of cars meet up there on the weekends, but everyone I've talked to said I'm the only Cobalt SS they've seen in the neighborhood, just wondering if any Redlines go there, would be cool to meet up with another LSJ.

Nope I'm stock. But not everyone can drive that well, hence our cars running anywhere from 14.2s-15.5s. So no redlines in my area?

I'm down by where 355 and 55 meet. SatRedL, SloRl, Omega, and a few others are fairly close to where I'm at.

Speaking of which, I've seen a Black (I think '04) RL by my house twice. I believe the owner works at a video store on Normantown rd in Romeoville right off of 53/Joliet Rd? Eh, I'll start a thread...
