i can ask my buddy he might know i know what your talkin about your goin rare huh?

as for you travis i would of cut the cat off they tend to plug because of it being 2 stroke by letting it sit for awhile gave it time to burn the oils out of the cat make sound right... i always advised people to block the oil injectors they were crap and just put 2stroke mix in the gas...

I understand why you would compare the rotorary to a 2-stroke, but to claim it is one is not quite right, either. Since I saw the first diagram of how the housing is machined, I've been asking, "How did they expect that to work?" Just like gaskets that try to seal 2-planes at once, they don't work well over the long haul.

it takes oil straight from the oil pan its oil injected into the housing mixed with the gas, the plugs are a 2stroke plugs just like a boat. i dont know what would make me think that. do asnybody know how many plants build the housings? as for well over along time, i have seen rx's with 300mi. on it with no probs. right it dont happen often but every once in awhile. i have rebuilt these and woked on them too damn long the first motor was made in 1957 by felix wankel the next year he made it for a bike the motors were even in busses...thats a funny one.

the oils is burned to help cool the apex sleaves and prevent chattering the use of synthetics is a no! the main prob with the oil from the pan is that it clogged the cats, and the apex seals did not get fully lubed to the edge of the seals, and on start up theres no oil pressure so is the any oil? if you were to block the oil inj. off and you no oil what so ever you would have a problem within 2 year possible dead motor..

by blocking the oil inj off and useing 2stroke in the gas, you can now use syn. oil and it also lubes the seals on startup, why well its in the gas and also you need compression to make the oil burn...lol

Just don't move to WI! lol.

yeahididit2 - my point was simply that there is not two separate strokes, nothing more. I'm sure you know more than I about rotories, I just don't want the people who know nothing about them getting confused.
