I think that dude can read pretty good. I think someone needs a little work in articulating narratives.

ok ok, The GTi, 06-07 comes with a 2.0T and is not referred to as a rabbit unlike the previous mkI GTi's they were called Rabbit GTI's. Chances are that it was a newer GTI, if it was before 06 then it was either a 1.8T or a VR6, vr6's had various S/C applications. but The reason I suspect a 2.0T is because he called it a rabbit GTI and that applies to the newest gen because they actually call the Golf a rabbit now unlike previous Gen's when the rabbit didnt exist and they were all called Golf's aside from MkI

ok, my bad I just re-read what I wrote. what I meant was that he let me hear his BOV, I gave him an earful of S/C. I hope that clears things up a little.

New Rabbit does not have a turbo, unless aftermarket but thats very unlikely since they just came out.

Well unless you are calling the GTI a Rabbit GTI then no it does not come with a turbo and there isnt a mainstream turbo kit for the 2.5 5-cyl that is in the current rabbit. Like stated before MkI GTI's were Rabbit GTI's and even some magazines are calling the GTI's, Rabbit GTI's. So its all in the wording.

I wish I had a cameraphone. When I rolled up on it, I looked at the back, unless what he did was put a GTi badge on & stuck an aftermarket turbo under the hood. Dude was S/B on 55 so he might might be in the Joliet-Shorewood, Plainfield area. I will be looking for it.
