i was on the freeway and rolled up t like 65 in light traffic. i let him get in front of me to get to open road and he throws his hazards on.... i roll up on him in third and he honks 3 times....as his head lights got smaller in the rearview. i looked down and was doing 135ish... after slowing down again he didnt want to race again.... he had all the bolt ons and a full suspension...

i think they had the same engine as the crx si.

Well a Del-Sol Si is a Single came vtec (D16Z6 engine) 130hp.

Now in 95-96 they had a Del-Sol Vtec which was the dual cam B16 160hp. It was only a mid 15 sec car with the average driver. So you problably killed the SOHC one.

Did the Del-Sol have those 2 foglights in the bumber next to the headlights? If it did then the only way it could be a DOHC is if they swapped the engine.

the revband i herd on the freewya makes me believe it was a dual cam. and the fact that it looked 94 or 95ish. not sure tho. he didnt want to get close again after i whooped him

I beat one of those chickmobiles when I first joined this site too. He was pretty heavily modded as well, but couldn't handle the RL torque.
