Beat by a Stealth R/T :(

Which means one way or another I'm modding come next spring, possibly before depending on how things go (not sure if I wanna mod and then not be ablel to use the power during the winter :P)

anyways, yea, turbo r/t (only the awd one was turbo right?)

at first i was disappointed, but then I actually pulled up the specs, the redline did DAMN good, I just barely got edged out (combine that with I have about a 100-200 lbs of extra crap in the car right now)

320 hp, awd, 3600 lbs. and the guy had a few mods done he said, nothing big, just upped the boost a bit and i'm guessing an exhaust.

i'm quite happy with how well I did with it. although now finding out the car was AWD, I'm surprised at how much it was beating me at the real fast speeds (100+) (top of 4th I was topping off, and he was going surprisingly fast)

no dig races to speak of though, and i'm happy about that now

I never got beat so bad but by one of them. Tis a Mitsu 3000gt...I went up against one at the track and he raped me sooo bad it was disgusting. But he did run something in the high eleven's...

Those things are no joke, but I heard they break a lot.

I had a 1991 3000GT VR4 (same as the turbo stealth) It was pretty darn quick but like somebody mentioned above this... it breaks very easily and is very expensive to fix.

I raced a Mistu VR4, and beat him, but he had 2 people in his car, and he said alot of heavy stuff in his trunk. He lives out near my son on the eastern shore. Every time I'm out there I look for him to give him a rematch. I wanna beat him fair and square, with no excuses for him. If he beats me,that's okay, I will get a little more power and go hunt him down again.

I see these pieces of crap here at the Mitsu Dealer all the time. They can be fast, but stock, they aren't. And considering almost 100% of the ones that come in need a complete rear suspension overhall, I wouldn't touch one with a very long stick ($3000+ for rear suspension parts and labor) And somehow their curb weight is not reported properly for the VR-4's. They are heavier than 3600 lbs.
