GMC Denali... o.O

Well, I actualy had two kills tonight... First was an '02 Civic Ricer, with an AEM intake and some kind of exaust work. Pulled along side at the light and just looked at me... didn't think he wanted to race... until the light turned green and he dumped his clutch... I only took first gear to about 2500 and missed second... still beat him by a length and a half by 3rd gear. Passed by me later all pissed... Had a bunch of stickers and decals everywhere... kinda sad really... but nothing new... Guess his VTEC didn't kick in.

The real kill of the night was a '04 GMA Denali! Yes, that's a HUGE SUV. Pulled up next to me with some shiney rims and underlights and reved his engine at me... He stayed flush with me until about halfway into 2nd gear I really pulled on him... Still it wasn't bad for a GMC... I never expected that much considering I had a perfect launch... I don't know what kind of mods he had but his exaust was REAL loud... sounded like it might of had an intake to boot. But since I'm almost completely stock... well...

I don't get how people know what mods their opponent has (AEM intake) without stopping and talking afterwards. This sounded like another random occurrence where the civic drove off afterwards, and didn't stop to tell you what he had. When you people claim what mods you're up against, do you know so because they tell you before you? If you're going by his stickers, that's not a real good measurement, just look at Alpha and how he fakes his products . Chances are the civic did have an intake if it was all riced out though. Not dissing your kills at all, I just notice a lot of times people claim to know what their opponent has for mods when it sounds like there was no exchange of words before or after the race....

+1... I always wonder myself... It's one thing if you see an exhaust, or hear a BOV, stuff like that... but how the hell do you know he's got an AEM intake, unless you know the guy?

It was a red AEM intake with a dryflow filter and intake bypass. Come on, am I the only person that can look at a car and know exactly what it has?
