Talking Oo! Oo! I got a kill!

Ok so normally I don't even bother (see sig) but I just read a post about a guy killing a Geo Storm so hell, mine definitely warrants it.

Was home visiting the in-laws this past weekend and my bro-in-law has a 90's Probe GT. Nothing special (hasn't modded anything) but is always talking about this "power band" at 4k that kicks in an "lays him back" - same thing his friends say as well. And he has put it up to 120+mph, so what the hey. He's 19 and so I just say "well Josh we'd better race now before I head to denver and just demolish you when I get back" so we take it to a back road. Rural iowa people, only things in danger were deer - and nobody gives a fuck 'bout those anyway

Anyway we did from a 15mph roll both times cuz his is automatic so I thought that'd make it halfway fair. Anyway first time I stay in second when we hit 15 and he honks 3 and we're off... i floor second and he's pulling away from me. by top of 2nd i'm creeping, 3rd creeping more, hit 4th and we're even, I had him by a car at 90mph when we shut down.

Second time I stay in 1st and say he's freakin dead. he knows it already. we hit 15, where I'm already at 3k+ rpm, and i honk 3. He stays pretty even with me until I hit second (shortly) and then he's toast.

I still say if he had a manual it'd have been some damn close races. But nonetheless, go me and my 122 ponies and 2 pony legs!

Next kill post, QC kills RL

i posted about it but sp00n said that it won't work on mine suks cuz since the blower's such a new model, cant' get the pulleys anywhere secondhand/etc... and from ATI they're like $100+, bastards. I'll figure sumthin out, won't be needing anything smaller than 3.5" for a while anyway. I'm hoping all the calcs I've used will prove to have over-rated the 3.5" pulley else I'll be doing an internals build sooner than thought!
